Mrs Aimee Brown

Experienced Rhetoric, Literature & Logic Tutor

Aimee Brown is an accomplished educator whose career has spanned leadership, curriculum development, and international teaching. She has served as Head of Department in English, assessed at national level as a NAPLAN marker, and represented Western Australia as an Education Ambassador to China.

Lover of Words & Ideas

A published author and lifelong lover of poetry and literature, Aimee sees words not as mere subjects but as the foundation of imagination, culture, and faith. At The Classical School she teaches Rhetoric, Omnibus (Great Books), and Logic in Years 7–10, and Rhetoric and Grammar in Years 4–6. Her classroom combines rigour with warmth, challenging students to think deeply, argue persuasively, and love the beauty of language.

A Teacher Who Lives What She Teaches

Though widely travelled, Aimee remains a Perth Hills local. Recently married, she and her husband are active in their church, where she leads singing and plays guitar. She also teaches with Australian Christian College online, blending the best of traditional and digital education.

High Expectations, Warm and Relatable

Students value Aimee because she is demanding yet encouraging: she asks much, but she gives more. Under her guidance, young people not only grow in knowledge but in confidence, clarity, and conviction — learning to think sharper, speak bolder, and live more faithfully.
